Sara Márquez Fontecilla - KSAMF91
Barcelona, 1991
Daughter of artists and granddaughter of art lovers, KSAMF91's been raised between canvas, artbooks and the museums. She finished Fine Art in 2014 and the next year did an Illustration postdegree. Currently she combines working as a graphic designer profile and as an illustrator.
In 2016 her first book illustrated was published: "Para no tener que hablar" (For not having to talk), a poem written by the Spanish author Muriel Villanueva.
Her works, mostly inspired by Primitive arts and Romanic art, are made with all kind of materials: ink, gouache, acrylics, watercolors, charcoal and pencils on carboards or wood and, for her sculptures, clay and from tree leaves to old toys.
